Folder view keeps refreshing

I have recently had a load of problems with viruses and spyware - I
have run Spybot and Adaware etc and cleaned up pretty well - but am
left with irritating popups and most irritating of all when I go to
view a folder eg. Programs the resulting screen keeps refreshing so I
can't view files further down the list as the screen jumps back to the
top.

Please can anyone help me resolve this problem?

See if this utility spots something strange starting up. Especially the
WinLogon key having a file name after explorer.exe, like ".../explorer.exe
/server.exe" or whatever. It should just be "explorer.exe"
