What do you mean, "you lost them"?

Did you try the View menu>Layout>enable Folder List?

Do you mean all the folders (Inbox, Sent Items, etc.) are there, but no
messages inside the folders? Make sure the 'current view' (View,
Current View) is configured for "Show All Messages" instead of
"Hide Read Messages".

I'm sure of that.... all messages disapear... before I had a message of
windows mail error of lost information.... it really disappears

See here (www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx) for details on the message store
format in WinMail versus OE. The files you are looking for are eml files
and the location of them should be under what Tools | Options | Advanced |
Maintenance | Store Folder indicates. Note they may be marked "Hidden".

It sounds like your Windows Mail message store structure is corrupted.
There is a very laborious way of resetting Windows Mail. Follow this
procedure:
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/62560-windows-mail-problems.html
Scroll down to the section "PROBLEM TWO: How to Backup and Reset
Windows Mail ".

Frankly, you'd be much better off to simply upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
As part of its initial run, Windows Live Mail will import any Windows Mail
messages it finds, so it may recover some of the missing ones.

Thanks for your answer.
Now I have a little bit of hope... I've tried first the windows live mail
because I already had it... but some foldres came empty and others correctly
with emails.
But I found windows live mail too slowly.
Now I'll try to reset Window mail, already made backups.
Thanks for your help, at least I recover some emails in Windows Live Mail.
Thanks again
Cristina
