Willard

Is there a way to 'clone' a folder in drive C:\
to the same named folder in drive D:\ (using Win2kpro)??

Drag & Drop 'Copy' does not remove files from folder D:\
that have been removed from folder in C:\ since the last
'Drag & Drop Copy' (C:\ to D:\)...

Get yourself `Syncback` (it`s free), then you can synchronise your folders
how you want.

Erase the folder on D: and copy it again from C:

Karen's Replicator

It can be schedule to run automatically or run manually.

When creating the job, choose "Replicate Folder and File Deletions"

Be sure to make your Target on D a specific folder and not just the D drive
itself. That would remove everything else on your D drive!

I think you are looking for folder junctions (reparse points). You may
create folder junctions on NTFS formated partitions with
http://www.rekenwonder.com/linkmagic.htm but there are many other
applications that can create folder junctions.

It looks like NTFS is the choice for 'folder junctions'; but since I
have FAT32, I will use 'xxcopy/clone' from the 'command prompt', until I
can find a simple program..

Thanks for the suggestion,
Willard
