Folder bar on desktop

M

Mike

A vertical bar has appeared on the left side of my
desktop. It takes up about 25% of my desktop and has
three small 'drop down' bars also lined up vertically.
The bars read 'Folder Tasks', 'Other Places',
and 'Details' from top to bottom.

How do I remove this?

Mike,

Click Start | Run | type "regsvr32 /i shell32". Restart Windows.

If this does not help, see:
