Flush/Delete ARP Cache

T

Tom Reason

I have an internet connection via my NTL Set Top Box. At the moment i have
to computers and no network so i have to keep swapping the cable back and
foward between the two, requiring a reboot of the STB.

I have just trasfered the cable from one computer to the other and it now
refuses to connect to the internet. When I right click on the connection and
click 'repair' it tells me that it 'Failed to Flush the ARP Cache'.
I have tried 'arp -d *' and 'netsh interface ip delete arpcache' from the
command prompt and have also reinstalled the NIC but the problem is still
there.

Any Suggestions??
