floppy driver stopping working

After I put a 720kb disk into my floppy drive the computer
insistantly shown the disk has not formatted even if I put
a good 1.44mb disk into it whenever I access to the floppy
drive. Please help.

Are these disks formatted yet? They do not usually come formatted. You
will have to do this. Also, check and make sure the cables inside the
computer are connected properly.
