Flashing screen when in screensaver mode

While trying to get into screensavers mode, I click display properties in a
blank area on the screen but when I click the
word screensavers my curser starts flashing in and out. Then when I press a
key the whole screen starts flashing continuously. This has never happened
before. I don't have sp2. Can anyone help me on this one. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Does this only happen when selecting SS? Without knowing more, are your
display drivers up to date, if running Windows update recently, perhaps they
need a roll back? Is this SS related, have you tried to change your current
SS? Are you using any Accessibility Options?
