Flash presentations won't play

Win98, IE 6 with SP1.

I installed a free pop-up blocking utility, featured on
PCWorld, to stop pop-ups, but after I installed the Google
Toolbar, I determined I did not need the utility, so I
uninstalled it.

Now, websites that have Flash presentations I want to see
don't work and WMP7.1 won't launch. Relegated to using
WMP6.4. I suspect both media problems are related to the
utility and its changing some settings, but I have no idea
how to reverse what the pop-up blocker changed and do not
remember which utility it was. I have tried adjusting all
of IE's Security settings, have uninstaled and reinstalled
IE, but nothing corrects the problems.

Also have Navigator installed and it plays Flash just fine.

Any ideas how to get IE and Flash talking to each other
again?

It sounds like you "turned off" flash before removing the pop-up blocker.
You should be able to reverse that before removing the utility again.
