I have tried everything everybody has told me to and still can't get the
flashplayer to download. I checked the security setting and all the activeX
stuff is enabled and I changed my security setting to low. I am not very
computer literate so please try to be easy on me.

Do you have a firewall or any other security software installed, it might be
blocking the download. Also, if you are blocking cookies or ads or have
software installed that might block such things try shutting them down as
they can block downloads as well.

Be sure to first clear the cache and you might want to reboot before trying
again. To clear the IE Cache, open Control Panel, open Internet Options,
click Delete Cookies, Delete Files (accept the option to delete all offline
Content) and click Clear History.

Did you try the standalone installer I recommended in your other post
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/common_player_install.htm
Download the standalone installer from the above site

scroll down to this part of the page

How do I download Macromedia Flash Player?
The Flash Player is available for download from the Macromedia website at the
Flash Player Download Center. If you wish to install using a standalone
installer you can download the appropriate installer below:

Once downloaded onto the HD, double click to install it.
