Flash Player not working on one setting but works on another

I posted this also on the IEP 7.0 forum and received two replies both of
which I tried but did not work. Here is the problem:

I have windows xp with service pack 2. IEP 7.0, I have a zone alarm
firewall, Mcafee anti virus and two registry cleaners. There are three users
on this computer who have their own separate settings.

I have tried everything to make flash player work on my settings, including
following the suggestions in the microsoft IEP 7.0 forum and all the
suggestions in the ADOBE community forums. NOTHING WORKS! I should also point
out that I am unable to get video images from Windows medio player 11. I get
as far as having the Flash Player show me the letter F over a bar but the
movie that is suppose to show when it installed NEVER shows up and then Flash
Player promts me again to install! Finally the page stops without loading
after trying again to install.

The really odd thing about all of this is that my son gets on the computer
goes to his settings and he personally shows me flash player working well
with him and windoes media player 11 also. He even did one of the proceedures
that I followed which was uninintalling flash player and reinstalling with NO
PROBLEM on his settings on the same computer! Does anyone have any
suggestions on how I can correct this in my settings?

Flash Player is very sensitive to Registry Permissions. I've had to work
on a few PCs where Flash wouldn't install or run and in those situations
it ended up being a permissions issue. Untangling this isn't easy or very
straightforward and is prone to making things worse.
One option is to create a new User Profile and migrate your documents
to it. Transferring settings may bring over the same issue you have now.
There is a tool/process for resetting the entire Registry permissions but
that's an "Extreme" broad-stroke to try and get Flash Player running.

Thank you very much for favoring me with a response. it just stuck me so odd
that when my son goes to his setting on the same computer (we share the
computer, actually three of us do so) he has no problem with using and
downloading flash player 9 or watching news videos on windows media 11.
Neither one of these operates in my settings. it must have been caused by
registry mechanic of windows registry cleaner, I guess it's basically learn
to live with it.

All kinds of unexplained glitches can occur from using a registry cleaner.
Do not use them.
