Flagged Reminders do NOT remind me when their time is due

Hi there,

Been trying to get info on this for many months now. Trying again... Please
help if you have any idea how I can sort this out.

I have been a user of Outlook for many years.
I have found that when I set a reminder FLAG (on an email for instance) with
a date and time to remind
me, I never get reminded.
This happened in Outlook 2000,2002, XP, 2003 - well, every version that has
come out in the last 5 years.

I set the reminder flag but then when that time and date comes to pass the
reminder does not pop up.
Reminders for appointments and tasks always pop up when they are meant to...
but not FLAG based reminders on things like emails etc.

Does anyone know how I can fix this or why this might be happening? I would
dearly like to sort this out as it is a feature I "try" to use a great
deal - to no avail though.

Where are the emails? They must be in the in-box in order for them to fire.

You can get an add-in written by MVP Ken Slovak
(http://www.slovaktech.com/extendedreminders.html) that will allow reminders
to fire from your default mail store.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
