I'm using windows 200 professional and need to fix just a
few corrept files, and not to reinstall the whole
program. Is there an easy way to do this.

Further to this, I have posted the following under the topic "SFC command"

My client has a number of PCs which don't have local CD-ROM drives but which
were obviously installed with the OEM Windows product using a master
generated with a local CD.

If I try to run SFC I am advised that the wrong CD is in the drive. Even if
I map a drive to the CD-ROM drive on the network server which contains the
appropriate OEM CD, I still get the same message.

I have also tried copying the CD to another hard drive partition on the
local drive and substituted an appropriate drive letter for its location -
same result!

Is there any way to run this operation in this situation, perhaps by further
command line parameters not shown when typing SFC /?
