Fixing corrupt OEM install with non-OEM CD

Is there an easy way to get around the deletion of user accounts,
installed programs, and files when running SETUP from a full version
CD over the top of an existing, but broken, OEM version?

Is the "full version" OEM or Retail? You cannot use a retail CD to repair an
OEM install, the product keys are not compatible.
