Fix windows install error..

Some application (HP scanner addon software) keeps poping up and
trying to install when XP starts..
How the heck do I stop this from happening?

never seen this happen be4 but if you goto start> run and type ms config
and click the startup tab a list of everything thats setup to run at startup
is there just see if its there n delete it
