Hi All...

Thanks to Lucky Dog , I hope it works for you also as i spent some time
trying to figure it out.
Also visit Symantec to clean further ( it's the NETPAL spyware )
The URL is: http://sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.netpal.html

Here's the fix that worked for me
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced then UNCHECK "Enable
third-party browser extensions"
then reboot.
Worked for me hope it helps someone else.

Thanks This worked for me too. I have had this problem
for several days. Everybody should try this fix. Now,
what does this mean? What caused the problem?

Thanks again.

First eliminate any scumware, then re-enable third party browsing
enhancements.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
