Terminal Server 2000 IE6 Hanging

Hi,
having problems with a 2000 terminal server I have inherited on starting a
new job.
The problem is IE6 hanging on all but one of the thin client accounts.
Mozilla works fine, but the terminal server is used for training and all the
course materials are from IE6, so Firefox isn't much use.
I tried some of the solutions mentioned in other threads here, the regsvr32
urlmon.dll fix didn't work and the server doesn't have the APC software
installed.
Any solutions that will allow me to avoid a complete rebuild much
appreciated (don't want to get a reputation as a panic merchant rebuilding
servers at the drop of a hat)
thanks
Andy

Try some diagnosis? E.g. trace the different cases. What's the difference
(apart from User-Agent)? In particular what is the difference in the one
system which is working with IE? Perhaps it is avoiding an unnecessary
option, such as checking for configuration by proxy? Etc.

thanks

Good luck

Describe "hanging" some more. Different people often mean different things.
