Firewire PCI card not recognised By XP

Hi,
I've recently installed a IEEE 1394 PCI card but it is not recognisd by XP.
I've tried searching for the hardware but that doesn't work. As I don't have
anysoftware disk I can't manually select the hardware. Could anyone tell me
what I should do to have the card recognised.

Try sticking it an a different PCI slot.

Hi Dave,
I have 2 PCI slots - I've tried it in both. I also hve a USB 2.0 PCI card -
that works in both slots.

What make/model is the card? I put one in my PC and Windows recognised it
without even needing drivers.
