Firewall

Is it necessary to usae a firewall program such as Norton
personel firewall or is the XP firewall just as good.

The XP firewall doesn't monitor outgoing access to the Internet, so it is better to install a 3rd party one. Personally I use ZoneAlarm - www.zonelabs.com - can't comment on the Norton one as I have never used it.

Naa, zone alarms too complicated, just use the XP firewall it works fine.

After reading this and subsequent research, I bought a SonicWall
and uninstalled Zone Alarm; also made sure the XP pseudo-firewall
was disabled.
