Firewall Settings for spyware update servers

I am havibg problems with updates on spyware. dose anyone
know the ip address of the update servers. I do not allow
http and https to connect to any ip address so i need to
know the ip address of the update servers so i can add a
rule to my firewall.

There have been several threads on this.

Try 216.32.240.29
but, perhaps 207.46.236.25 will also be necessary--both TCP, port 80.

Simply allow microsoft.com!

All updates are from microsoft.com.

If you type in spynet.com, the pages that people have
used in the past to manually download the update files,
you will be taken to
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/
default.mspx, the home page of MSAS.
