Vista Firewall - Windows Updates

Howdo all,

Anyone know what the IP addresses are (I'm assuming there's a block)
of the Windows Update Servers ?
I've setup the Vista Firewall to block all outgoing connections and
allowed an OutBound Rule for svchost for Windows Update - but I'd
prefer to lock it down further by specifying the IPs of the Win
Update
Servers too.

Any ideas anyone ?

TIA, r

For security purposes, the IP address for Windows Update
changes quite frequently and no static address would be of use.

You can use 'nslookup' for this.

eg
nslookup microsoft.com
nslookup windowsupdate.microsoft.com

NB You'd also need to set up a outward rule for 'nslookup', if you've set
blocking as the default outward action.
