Firewall problem

Hello,

I am trying to put the firewall up and every time I try I get this message "
An error occurred while internet connection was being enabled. The
dependency service or group failed to start".

Can anyone please point me in the right direction to solve this problem?

Internet Connection - Firewall (ICF) / Sharing (ICS) Service:

Make sure that the dependency services are started and running.

Thanks for the info, but what are the dependency services and how can i see
if they are running?

The http://www.theeldergeek.com/icf_and_ics.htm link gives you the
information. Go to Administrative Tools/Services to see service status etc.
Then use your brain. Its unfair that we do all the work and you do none as
we all learnt the hard way, i.e., by doing.
