firewall on xp

Hi I have just change form aol to bellsouth
dial up and when we set it up they told me
to uncheck the firewall so I left it uncheck
I run macfee virus and firewall have all
updates and patchs have xp and sp1 someone
told me I need to enable the firewall on
my computer to, so I did but when the firewall
from the bellsouth network connection is on it stops
my bellsouth call waiting and I need to see
when someone call's, do I need both firewalls
on any advice will help

You don't need both firewalls, turn off the XP firewall.

Yes, by default. However that doesn't mean that you can't choose
to turn it off if you want to use another firewall instead.

As Ken has said, you can turn it off in SP2 as well.
