Firewall Disabled

I have run the Beta version of spyware but unfortunatly
the windows xp firewall is disabled by when the clean
deletions are done.

The firewall is not able to be re-enabled : an error
message that states "Windows cannot start the Windows
Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service."

Any suggestions? We would like our firewall back!
