The above page says that mozbackup was discontinued.

The official page for mozbackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ shows that
an update was recently posted on May 4th, 2006, a warning about bogus forms
of this program was posted on May 6th, 2006 and there is an active poll
concerning new features for version 1.5. Seems to look like mozbackup is
still an active project.

decision was final, but he ended up working on it again eventually.

Yeah, it seems to be alive and well now.

It works very well. The only improvement I wish would be to eliminate the
"password" function on the backup, as a home user, don't need it.
