Firefox not working

I got Vista Ultimate with a new computer, set up a dual boot with XP and
everything worke great for about a month, but then Vista wigged out at me. I
installed Vongo, used the trial and then uninstalled Vongo via XP(it was on
my Vista drive) and I believe that that was my mistake. After seeing that
not all files were deleted I simply booted onto Vista and triend
uninstalling, it said it was missing too much data to uninstall so closed.
I decided to get on Firefox to find a solution after trying several other
methods of uninstallation for Vongo, after I couldnt find anything I closed
out of Firefox and listened to music for a while. Then when I closed out of
Windows Media Player it said that it had closed unexpectedly and ran some
tests then I confimed some information and it left.
I tried to open Firefox again but gave me the same scenario when when I
tried to open it. I tried most of my programs and it gave me the same error
messages every time I tried to close out of it.
I am on Vista now, but using IE which I rather dislike, and it took some
work. But my question after the story is how do I get Firefox up and running
again, how do I get rid of all of these error messages which later lead to
system checks and sygnificant slow downs, how do I make my Nod 32 Kernal
Antivirus software start updating agiain(that happened after I rebooted after
the Firefox incedent) and how do I finish of Vongo?

Nope, the problem lies in windows, now it will only let me use 64-bit
programs that have come on windows, I have tried other programs and only the
vista 64-bit programs seem to work
