finding the type of dimm in my system

I know the kinds of dram that I can have -- 168 pin;
pc100; eec or non-ecc; non-filtered; 3.3v, but what are
the ones in my system -- can I find out?

Go to one or all of these. You will need to know
computer name and manuf/model (ex. Compaq Presario 1234NX)

Just download the free software AIDA32 it will scan and
report more details than you can likely understand. It will
report what factory made your RAM, details about serial
numbers and product keys. A neat program.
