Hi,

What is findfast.exe and do i need it constantly running and consuming my
precious RAM?

Hi Nick

It is installed with Microsoft Office - and no, you don't need it. Although it is supposed to be an 'Indexing' service of sorts, all it does is to slow PCs down. You can uninstall it via the MS Office setup program.

No .. it's the MS Office version of 'content indexing service' which you
probably don't need either (using RAM, CPU and disk space .. all three).
