ms09.dll missing

I have just upgraded and installed Windows XP and all the
critical updates, but am getting an error message at
start up that the ms09.dll file and the findfast.exe
files are missing. The system seems to be working ok
however.

I had to uninstall a few programs I don't use to allow
space on my hard drive for the installation.

Can anyone tell me where these files may be or if they
are important?

MS Office looks like the culprit.
