Find Sent Faxes by Date

Hello All, Please help. How do you find a sent fax in
the log by date? I am looking in My Faxes/Sent Faxes in
Documents. This is the default save.
3ee02d6e00.tif is dated 11/14/2002. The one directly below
40c2308e00.tif is dated 4/14/2004. There is no pattern to
the numbers. They are all listed randomly. I have to
click on each one to see the date they were sent. Is
there an easier way?

No, not in Windows 2000 or SBS 2000. The 'number' part of the filenames is
not dependent on the sent time.

From Windows XP onwards you can use Fax Service Extended COM Objects to
enumerate SentItems & the property FaxOutgoingMessage.TransmissionEnd should
give what you want.

If you are in the sent faxes folder you should see column
headings for name, size, type, modified, etc. If you
click on modified you can sort them by date. If you right
click on the headings you can choose more options. You can
select recipient name and number to find out where the
faxes went.
