Files in Quarantine Subfolders Can Not Be Deleted

A complete scan with a newly installed McAfee pointed me to subfolders in
Quarantine. But using the Manage option doesn't show any of these (names
like 06176E85-924A-4851-A9A3-9DDE0D) - I had already deleted everything from
the quanantine through the GUI . Any one seen this? What problem will I
create if I delete the four file folders and their contents?

I've seen this myself--if you know of no reason to want to recover something
from quarantine--and the main reason I've seen throughout the beta is that
it might contain all your Kazaa MP3's--I'd go ahead and shut down Microsoft
Antispyware via right-clicking on the notification area icon, and choosing
shut down--and then just delete the files and folders involved.

I think that once they are unlinked from the GUI--i.e. you didn't see them
in the gui for un-quarantining items--nothing within Microsoft Antispyware
will be looking for them.

I'm not sure how this happens--whether a quarantine operation is
interrupted, or this is the product of an uninstall/reinstall, or an upgrade
between beta versions, or what--but I wouldn't expect any repercussions
whatsoever from removing those files, unless they are someones favorite
MP3's.

If they ARE someone's favorite MP3's, see the onlinecommunity thread about
"save mp3s in quarantine" for further info.
