When installing an usb device (i.e. camera) the installtion progress does
not find the files in c:\i386\driver.cab.
When I expand the files 'by hand' and type in the target directory, it works
fine.
Maybe this happens, because I had moved the dir c:\i386 to another drive and
then moved it back to C:
How can I tell Windows or the installation where the drivers are?

Hi

Any USB peripheral should have its own CD to install the relevant drivers.

The files missing are all within driver.cab. When I search the System, they
are found there. Only the instllation process does not find them, until I
expand them manually. I'm quite sure that I handn't have this problem,
_bevore_ I moved the i386 directory to another drive and vice versa.
The problem occured with three different (2 logitech, one cretive) usb
cameras, so I don't expect this to be a problem with the usb driver-cd.
