Files (icons) shown in Desktop

Hi,
I have in the desktop folder of my computer several files and shortcuts. One
of them is called 'Internet Explorer'. But the icon corresponding to that
name doesn't appear in the desktop!
What will be the problem?

Hi,

Thanks for the help, but it didn't work. I need an icon in the desktop whose
properties page says 'Internet properties'. I need not a shorcut.

Just a guess, but perhaps you can't see it because it's covered by
another shortcut.
