Files Deleted, OE question...

With no backup, my 5 GB + data is deleted and that data was not of type
that i can recover from buying or something.... It just happened 5 -6 hours
ago. I immediately tried System Resore with no luck then a file recovery
tool but that main problem is most of the data files were exe and archive
files and you know they get corrupted easily... If you have some idea that
i can try, it will be great but my question is :
My outlook dbx files were on that drive, some are intact but for everything
else, i have to redownload message. The problem is i have deleted these dbx
files -Inbox.dbx,Offline.dbx and Outbox.dbx but Outlook is not downloading
the message from my GMAIL pop account and previous messages are not there,
the settings looks fine. Why is this problem ?

I know i shoud post this in OE newsgroup but one problem is how to restore
my data, is there a good program that can restore those archive and exe
files...
I am currently not using that disk for anything because i am hoping that
someone will give something helpful..

How they got deleted will make a big difference in whether you can recover
them and whether they will be usable when recovered.

So, how did they get deleted? Delete button? chkdsk? Bad drive?

Specially if DOD-5250 used to delete the files, or a HD utility.

There is a file in the root of that drive that has no name and the file is
there for a long time. I cant delete the file from Explorer and how can I
delete the file from cmd or a dos/boot disk because you have to give a
name. I used "Delete FXP File" to delete the file but because of empty name
it took the path of the drive that is "e:\" and deleted the files randomly.
Not in recycle bin but the program I have,Pc Inspector File Recovery, shows
files.
