files and settings

Hi

I am trying to use the Files and setting transfer wizard
as a backup facility.

It all works fne until i try to copy to my CD Drive when
i get a message 'disc is corrupted or there is no disc in
the Drive" The drive can copy from the machine other
stuff without problems.

Any advice on how to fix would be most appresiated.

FAST was not designed to be a backup utility. FAST is used to transfer
certain files and settings between two computers, so you shouldn't expect it
to have a 'backup to CD' option. I suppose you could do a backup with FAST
if you want to backup to another computer, but why not use Windows XP's own
backup utility instead? Ntbackup won't backup directly to CD - you'll need
third party software for that - but you can backup to your hard disc and
then burn the image to CD.
