Files and Settings Transfer Wizard Unable to Restore

I am able to run the save function of the wizard. Both old and new computers
are on a network. I specified the shared documents folder on the new
computer as the place to save the old files and settings. I can see a folder
that was created there called usmt2.unc. It has 3 files: IMG00001.dat,
IMG00002.dat and status. The files are approx 2mb, 1.8mb and 1KB
respectively. When I try to run the wizard on the new machine, I navigate to
the shared folder named usmt2.unc and when I select it, I get a message "The
location you specified does not contain stored information". I have tried to
run the wizard storing the folder on a 3rd machine which both systems have
access to and I get the same message when I go to the new machine to load it.
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to use the same version of F.A.S.T. as you did to export the
profile.
I have found - in the past - it is better to use F.A.S.T. from a CD (Windows
XP) than any other way - both to export and import - when you cannot be sure
the versions are the same (patch level, etc.)
