files and folders disappearence

Dear All,

All of a sudden all the folders and files disappeared.
OS is Windows 2000 server but system is booting and also
able to use all applications. What could be the reason?
how to solve this problem?

Are you sure you are signed on as the same username where
all teh files and folders were created and stored?
 
yes i am logging in as same user.
