can a quicktime file be used directly in windows movie maker ? if not... can the quicktime file be converted to some other file type that works? how?
 
It needs to be converted before importing into MM2, and it's pretty easy to
do. See the Importing Source Files > Video > MOV page of www.papajohn.org
