I am trying to use my movie maker file in Pro tools which requires a quicktime movie file. Is it possible to convert a movie maker file to a quicktime file? If so how can I go about doing this? I would appreciate any help.

Hello there,

Click on FILE > SAVE MOVIE and follow the wizard making sure you select
DV-AVI at the appropriate point. The help file for movie maker gives some
quite good instructions on this.
