i wanted to change the default icon of folders so i opened tools>folder options
then clicked file types, then i selected the (file folder) extention and
clicked advanced and changed the icon but after i did that every time i
double click a folder the search window opens that's because the (open)
command in the right click menu is somehow removed, so i opened the (file
folder) extention again and opened the advanced window and found that the
open action in the action list is not there so i clicked (new action) , there
was to forms to fill the first is "action" and the second is "application
used to perform action" and the second one is my proplem so what is the
application used to open folders? with the open action. i tried
c:\windows\explorer but it opens each folder in it's own window so whats the
apllicaton?? PLEASE HELP ME

Use the Restore button for (NONE) File Folder.

The Restore button resets the selected extension to the previous file type
and will only be present if you modified the settings of the selected file
type. The Restore button appears in the place of the Advanced button.

<quote>
Search opens after editing Drives or Directories

Type in Start Run

regsvr32 /i shell32

This occurs when you use the File Types dialog to edit Drives or
Directories. You need to type the above each time you use that dialog to
edit those two types.
