I am about to open port 110 for the POP3 service in Exchange 2000. I
noticed when I turn off basic authentication I am unable to establish a
connections, but once I turn on Basic authentication is turned back on I can
establish a connections and receive and send mail. Is there a way to setup
a more secure connection so I do not have to have CLEAR text for the
passwords being sent over the internet.
