File sharing option not an option...greyed out...?

I have XP Pro, and I have always (last week even) been able to right
click on a folder and share its contents out to other machines on my
network. I've done this countless times.

Today, I go to do the same thing and all my sharing options are greyed
out

This is happening on any folder I choose, does not matter which drive
it is on... what has happend to disable simple file sharing?

FYI... I was able to resolve the problem myself. I eneded up using the
windows wizard for setting up a home network. After I ran that, I again
have the ability to share folders...
