file - send - page or link by E-mail problem

Herman

When in IE, when try to send file or link by E-mail, the
program only opens up Netscape's e-mail mechanism, rather
than Outlook Express 6, which is what I use exclusively
for e-mail. And it doesn't send it anyway because it
is 'blocked by administrator'. How do I set the file -
send - page (or link) by e-mail so that it simply uses
outlook express rather than netscape? No such problem
when have, say, Word open, and want to send the document
by e-mail, it goes right to outlook express.

Thanks for your help.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/defaultl.htm

Go to Start | Run and type this command, with the double quotes and spaces:

"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

and then make sure that OE is selected as the default mail program in both
IE and OE.

If that isn't enough, see this article:
