File search fails across VPN

I am running Windows Server 2003 SP1 with Windows XP SP2 Clients. When
a client across a VPN does a search for files on a server share there
are never any results. If I search the same file share on the LAN I
get results. If I search server to server across the VPN it works.
The VPN tunnel is a Site-to-Site Sonicwall VPN.

Any Suggestions are Appreciated.
