file missing or corrupt\system 32\drivers\Ntfs.sys

I recently moved. Last night I hooked up everything and my computer worked
fine. Then I deleted comcast support from my programs. I now access the
interntet through a phone line and aol. At first when I'd turn on the
computer, it would show HP invent, then go to signing on windows. Each time
it would almost bring windows up, but would turn itself off and restart at HP
invent over and over. Now it gives me an error (file missing or corrupt
System 32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys
and tells me I can correct this problem by re-installing my original windows
from the CD-rom and PRESS 'r' when the first screen comes up. But the first
screen never comes up. It just sits on the blank screen with the file
missing...press 'r'..screen.

How do I correct this problem?
