File Migration

I am using Windows XP Pro. I had to reformat my system and did a backup of my
files using the backup tool in Windows XP.

Now that I have reinstalled my system, I restored the files from the backup.
My files are back in its original location. However, every single file I try
to open says that access is denied. How can I regain access to my files?

Go to Help and Support and do a search on "take Ownership" and see if that
helps.
