File Folder Options - Windows XP Professional

Hello -

I have a problem with arranging files in my file folders
ever since we've installed Windows XP Professional. I
have tried everything in the "view" options that you can
do, and my files do not seem to be arranged in any order
whatsoever. I would like them to be arranged numberically
regardless the size of the file.

Can you help?

Choose the "Details" view then click on the field name
(thats the grey bit at the top" you wish to sort by in
this case "Name" or from the view menu on the toolbar
select "Arrange icons by" then select name.

Hey Linda,

When you go into Windows Explorer, right-click on an
empty space, move over "Arrange Icons By" and then click
on "Name". This will arrange them in alphabetical order
(little numbers first, big last).
