file error

I have loaded SP2 on my XPHome computer several weeks ago. Lately I cannot
run my lable program, or, a new one I have downloaded.

The error I get is :
"C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt, The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose Close to terminate
the application."

I get that error of both a 16bit and 32 bit version of the new label
program, as well as Labelpro I have been using for years.

Was wondering if you can reinstall SP2 if that would fix that file, or
restore to an earlier time and then reinstall SP2 ? ? ? ?

Thanks for any help

I had the same problem myself just this morning! Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767 and follow
the instructions for expanding a fresh copy of Autoexec.NT from your XP
install media.

Thanks In Advance
