File Download Dialog

I accidentaly turned off the "always ask before opening this type of file"
option in the IE File Download dialog for PDF files. Can anyone tell me
how to turn it back on? I would appreciate a reply by email:
(e-mail address removed)

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/[File Type in
Question]/Advanced. Put a check in the box that reads: Confirm open after
download.

Thank you for the fast reply. Unfortunately I already did that, but when I
click on a PDF link the diallog still does not display, and the file just
opens in the browser.

I won't send a reply by e-mail. That will cost you for computer service. If
you ever come back here, look in your Internet Explorer options.

Right click the link and select Save Target As. This will get you a
download dialog box and the pdf won't open in your browser.

This should allow you to get a download dialog box and never open a pdf file
in IE again.
Go to >>
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader\Plug_ins
and move the EWH32.api file up into the Optional folder.

EWH32.api = External Window Handler
The Acrobat Browser Manager plug-in allows users to view PDF files in their
web browser.

Get this and disable all the unneeded crap from Adobe Reader...

Most welcome. However, this is a different issue. Check with the PDF
reader you are using. There are notable issues and workarounds between IE
and Adobe. Good luck and keep us posted.
