I have 1500+ songs on my computer in .wma format, and I'm
thinking about getting an iPod for christmas. So I need
to know if is is windows compatible, and how I can
convert all my songs to mp3 format without re-copying
them all.

Thanks.

Much love!

A Yahoo! search gives over 74,000 hits on "convert .wma to .mp3" and a
lot of them are freeware.

Use your computer.

There are a bunch of converters out there, take your choice. The one I use
is dBpowerAMP. It is freeware and can be found with a Google search. I
select the contents of a folder at a time for conversion.
