wma plays in regular CD player

I have a CD with all songs in wma format. All songs can be played in windows
media player but only half of the same songs can be played in my 3 other
regular CD players (not in computers, regular stereo).

I wonder if the Bit rate, Audio sample size or the Audio sample rate or
something else in the Properties determines if the wma can be played in an
audio CD player. It seems that the Audio bit rate 32 khz usually can not be
played. Is there any way to convert from one wma to another wma format?

Do you mean 32 or 320K? It's not uncommon for MP3 players to have
trouble with encodings at that 320K or higher, so I'm guessing that if
your other CD players have similar DSP chips then they will too. VBR
files will be affected too.

You can transcode using a tool like dbPowerAmp, but the results can be
unsatisfactory unless you start from an uncompressed source like WAV or
WMA Lossless.

Those songs can be played are 44kHz in the Audio bit rate. (not 44 hz).
Others with 44 kHz also have problems. Those songs are not mp3.
